Yes. Maine Lawn & Landscape is fully insured with general liability coverage. If you'd like proof of insurance before we start, just ask and we'll send it.

Most Maine lawns benefit from leaving finely cut clippings in place because they return nutrients to the soil. We bag only when growth is unusually heavy, the grass is wet or diseased, or the clippings would smother the lawn.

We adjust mowing height for the grass and conditions, generally keeping Maine lawns around 3 to 4 inches and higher during heat or drought. We follow the one-third rule and avoid removing more than one-third of the grass blade in a single cut.

Timelines depend on the scope of work — from a few minutes to a few days depending on the scope of the job and/or redesign.

We bill after each visit and charge your card the next business day. A valid credit card is required to keep billing smooth and rates low. We accept all major cards.

Fence scuffs from string trimmers are common, especially on boards without bottom runners. Gate areas are most prone to wear. Contact us if you see damage so we can take a look and repair if needed.

No. Our mowing service is just for turf areas. Garden beds and shrubs require a separate Bush & Bed service, which we're happy to provide.

Weekly and bi-weekly mowing plans include a written service agreement. Your scope, schedule, price, and cancellation terms are confirmed before work begins.

We do our best, but days are generally routed by neighborhood and zip code to ensure efficient service.

We mow in light rain when safe. If we delay for weather, we catch up the next day. We do not skip holidays. Let us know ahead of time if you'd like to pause your service.

Please leave gates unlocked and pets secured. We recommend combo locks if you're away. We can't come back out if we can't access your yard.

Please clear the lawn of pet waste, toys, rocks, and other debris before service. These can damage equipment or become dangerous projectiles.

Your service agreement sets out cancellation and rescheduling terms. Contact Muyinza as early as possible if your plans change.

Contact us at least 24 hours ahead to skip. Your next mow will be the following scheduled day. Skipped cuts are not automatically rescheduled.
